Robert "Bud" Louis Powers, 91, of Central Point, Oregon, passed away on August 1, 2023 of natural causes.

Robert was born on August 2, 1931 to James Edward Hopkins and Golda May Roberts in Grand Canyon,  Arizona.  He served in the Army during the Korean War. Then, he worked in road construction for 40 years and was a truck driver.

In 1951 , he married Helen Marie Earl, going on to have four children, Penny Petersen, Bobby Powers, Sandy Inman and Timothy Powers.

After retirement, Robert spent his time gardening, traveling and making construction equipment, bird houses and other things out of specialty wood. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by Helen Marie Powers (Wife), James Edward Hopkins (Father), (Father by adoption), Golda May Roberts (Mother), Jim Powers (Brother),  Fannie King(Sister) and Bobby Lynn Powers (Son) . He is survived by Siblings Marletta Spires and Linda Sturges(Sisters), Children, Penny Petersen, Sandy Inman (Bill) and Timothy Powers, Nine Grandchildren, Stacy, Krystal Rae, Crystal Marie, Nicole, Jennifer, Cathleen, Leisha, Todd and Josh, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, Kayla, Lauryn, Alana, Jade, Marissa, Conner, Cooper, Colton, Wyatt, Mason, Conner, Dustin, Jason, Nathan, Josh,Evie and Helen.
