Robert's obituary
Robert Lee Powell 25, passed away on October 27, 1977, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of George Powell Jr. a 26-year-old millworker from Mississippi and 20-year-old Arneste White (Arnetsia Williams) (Arneste Williams) from Helena.
Robert was a factory molder in Chicago, IL, who learned his work ethic from his grandparents. He was the grandson of Reverend George Powell Sr. who ministered in Aberdeen, Mississippi. On his mother's side, his grandmother (Evie Brown) Evie Williams worked as a farming laborer and Jettie Williams worked in a sawmill.
Robert met and married Deloris Lindsey in Chicago, IL.
