Robert "Bobby" Wayne Penicka, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 20 at his home in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm Wednesday, January 28 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Smetana Cemetery.

Bobby was born October 23, 1965 in Caldwell, Texas, the son of Joe William and Gladys Marie (Maresh) Penicka.

Bobby and Robin met July of 1980, through one of her brothers.

They started dating March 31, 1990 and married December 31, 2012 at Central Park in College Station and had a loving relationship until his death.

He loved working his cattle on the family farm, being on the tractor cutting and bailing hay with his #1 rake hand, Robin. He said, "she was the best rake hand he ever had". Or riding around on the farm in their side by side. If you couldn't find Bobby and Robin on the farm you could find them cat fishing on the Little Brazos River or hanging out at the Big Brazos River with some of Robin's family, his extended family.

He loved and was loved by all family and friends and would do anything for them at anytime, day or night.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; and his in laws, Howard Sr. and Margaret (Bomnskie) Gott and nephew, Anthony Gott.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Penicka; brother, Joe "JR" Penicka, Jr.; two stepsons, Wes Blinka Jr. and Ashley and Cody Blinka; step grandchildren; Robert, Jacob and Kilee; Aunt Mary Ann (Maresh) Morille; brother in laws and sister in laws, Howard Jr. and Dawn Gott, Preston and Tina Gott, Keith and Myra Gott; numerous cousins, extended family, many friends and Bobby & Robin's amazing and special friend Carol Cathey.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Bledsoe, Ricky L. Bomnskie, Ricky W. Bomnskie, Aaron Cathey, Colby Fagan, Charles Regmund, Felix Torres, Jr. and Kelly Waggoner
