Bob's obituary

Robert Lloyd Painchaud, known to most as Bob, was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 3, 1956. Those who knew Bob well can attest to his love for dogs, burgers, cars and coffee. However, family always came first.

At the age of 24, Bob boldly moved away from his family home in Shelby Township, MI to Humble, TX, in search of a better job, a place of his own and perhaps a little bit of freedom. He was pretty much a lone wolf but had a few very close friends (quality over quantity). Bob loved the heat of Texas and wound up buying a home in Spring, where he lived out the rest of his life. He always provided a wonderful home for his furry canine companions, most recently Max and Garret.

To his siblings, Bob was more than a brother. He was a great friend you could talk to over a cup of coffee. Bob would never say no to a DQ Blizzard, and many were shared during his visits to Michigan. He was easy to please, polite, friendly, pleasant and funny. He loved to joke around and had a laugh that was infectious.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Winnifred and Louis Painchaud. He leaves behind siblings Jeff Painchaud, Jackie Enfroy (Paul) and Mike Painchaud (Debbie), along with nephews Matt Payne (Brittany) and Michael Painchaud.

Bob will be remembered as a wonderful brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever have a home in our hearts.
