Bob's obituary
It is with sorrow, and due to his faith, bittersweet joy that Robert W. Nicholas (Bob) passed in peace at the age of 90 on March 1, 2023, in Green Valley Arizona. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary and survived by his dear friend and companion, Sharon Coustier. Loving father of Becky Hosteland, Jane Larcombe, and Lori Thomas.
Proud grandfather of Jessica Eachus, Lauren Ashley Schwinn, Matt Larcombe, and Ben Larcombe. Great-grandfather of Alex Eachus, Drew Eachus, Lyla Larcombe, Nora Larcombe and newborn Harper Schwinn.
Brother of Dorothy Holzkopf, preceded in death by sister Betty Howden and brother Don Nicholas, further survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Bob will be affectionately remembered by family and friends as a man who served his country, church, family and friends with an unparalleled generosity of spirit, commitment, and love. He was a talented craftsman and a creative builder of many works of art that he kindly gave to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He will be remembered in a Celebration of Life ceremony on Saturday, April 1st at 1:00 PM at Green Valley Baptist Church, 1111 N La Cañada Dr. Green Valley, AZ 8561.
