Robert Snyder Munson, aged 71, passed away on March 20, 2025 at home.

Rob was born on November 20, 1953 in Red Bank N.J. and was raised in Little Silver. He graduated from Red Bank Regional High School and attended Brookdale Community College. He worked in landscaping and later owned a Munson’s Landscaping. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work and dedication. He was endlessly cheerful and enjoyed spending time with family and his dogs.

Rob is predeceased by his parents, Russell and Ada Munson of Little Silver, his sister (Olive) Ruth Van Leer of Middletown and his brother Brian James Munson of Tinton Falls.

Rob is survived by his bother Russell Albert Munson and sister-in-law Sandra of Howell, sister-in-law Patty Munson of Tinton Falls; nieces and nephews Laurel Van Leer (husband Charles Weibel) of East Brunswick; William Van Leer (wife Linda) of Middletown; Sharyn Benetsky (husband Wayne) of Elberon; Kelly Munson (husband Chris Pavics ) Belford; Brian Munson (wife Jamie); Ryan Munson of Oceanport; Rina Munson of Little Silver; and many great-nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held for family and close friends.
