Robert (Robbie)'s obituary
Robert Jacob Morelock was born August 16th, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jo Ann and Don Morelock, He graduated Harrisonville High School in 1987. He joined both of his parents as they ventured out to Tombstone, AZ in 1989 to permanently live. He was a member of the famous Wild Bunch; a volunteer group that re-enacts the gunfights in Tombstone as well as other skits. Rob played Billie Clanton during his time in the Wild Bunch. Many don't know but he was a vital part of helping build Kartchner Caverns. He was also quite the artist especially around that time. Rob was married once but it didn't work out. He worked the past several years at the Longhorn Restaurant in Tombstone. He was always well loved and it didn't take long for him to make friends. He had a strong bond with his parents and when they passed he was heartbroken. Rob's health deteriorated the last few years as he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Despite chemo and radiation treatments the cancer spread to his spine and bones. A few weeks ago he suffered a stroke as well that left him partially paralyzed on the left side. Although we knew time was limited, his death was sooner than expected as he had voiced to Eric his brother that he was actually feeling much better, but his illness caught up with him .
Rob is preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Morelock, father Donald Morelock and Aunt Norma who was like a 2nd mother after JoAnn passed. He's survived by his brother, Eric Morelock, (Tracy Morelock); nieces Cassi Morelock, Amanda Morelock Akers ( Joseph Akers) and his great nieces and nephews, Joseph, Erika, Kayla, and Jacob Akers, his beloved Dog Lilith and many many friends.
Donations will be used for his cremation, and celebration-of-life memorial, medical etc. Thank you so much in advance for your support.
