Background
My uncle Rob passed away unexpectedly. He had been fighting cancer and a recent stroke but voiced to my father that he felt strong and better lately. We knew his time was limited but this was way sooner than expected. He did not have a will or savings in place for funeral expenses. Our family is trying our best to financially act fast to give him a proper good-bye, but times have been rough and money is tight.
Uncle Rob was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1969 to Jo Ann and Don Morelock, my grandparents. He graduated Harrisonville High School in 1987. He joined both of his parents as they ventured out to Tombstone, Arizona to permanently live. He also joined my grandfather in several re-enactment groups in Tombstone. Many don't know but he was quite the artist especially around that time. Uncle Rob was married once but it didn't work out. He was always well liked and it didn't take long for him to make friends. He had a bond with his parents unlike any other and when he lost both of them he struggled after. He is survived by his brother, Eric Morelock, my dad; his sister-in-law, Tracy Morelock, my mother; his nieces, myself and my sister, Amanda Akers; his great nieces and nephews, Joseph, Erika, Kayla, and Jacob Akers; and many friends.
Donations will be used for his cremation, an eventual memorial, celebration-of-life service and reception, and any lawyer costs, removal fees, etc to settle his assets since he did not have a will. Thank you so much to everyone in advance for your support.
I believe this site allows for sharing of pics and memories. We would be blessed if you would share anything you may have to honor his memory. Contribute
