In the late 90's I found myself in Tulsa for about a year and a half, living in a motel while attending school and working. The internet consisted of BBS's and Bob had one called Gratisnet which was free and connected me with the rest of the world. I had several communications with Bob and found myself interested in his life and the things he wrote about. He was one of those people who help others without any concern for remuneration. He was a pleasure to know. RIP.

Steve and Samantha,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw this obituary. Though we didn't keep in touch much, after they moved to Florida, I always thought of them every year on July 6th. Bob and Wanda were such wonderful people and were always so kind to me. They really were special people.

Although we are sad to have lost my Father, we rejoice that he knew the Lord and is in heaven today with my Mother Wanda and Brother Mick among others!
To all who knew Bob, thank you to all who have reached out, as it gives us great joy that he touched you in some way.
