When we met, we could tell you were a special person, willing to give the shirt off your back for friends and family. Like us, you were so proud of your children and their accomplishments, and rightfully so. Our kids make a great couple…don’t they? We prayed for your health to improve, but it just wasn’t to be, so sorry for that long tough road. God was calling you, I bet he needed someone to organize things up there…one of your specialties I hear. So glad we met and will meet again someday, in the meantime, we’ll keep you alive in our memories. Condolences to your beautiful family and loved ones…God Speed Rob Matevish, to know you was our pleasure!

Anna & Bill Foley

I always appreciated Rob for his sense of humor and his caring for other people.  After Sutter, we kept in contact and went on an annual golf outing in Utah.  While neither of us were very good, it gave us a chance to shoot the breeze and catch up on what happened during the year.  Most of the conversation centered around his family and how proud he was of his kids.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this difficult time.
So sorry for your loss! I worked with Rob in Santa Rosa and he always had an ear to listen to work woes. We also had some fantastic times together with colleagues in Vegas and other work trips! May his memory be a blessing to you!
