Robert's obituary

>Robert "Bob" Mann, 92, of Roswell, GA, passed away on October 31, 2025 after a long life providing for his family.  Bob was born on January 9, 1933 to Walter and Mildred Mann in Brooklyn, New York.  While serving in the Army during the Korean War as a rifle instructor, he married his high school sweetheart Josephine DeBlasio.  After his discharge from the Army, Bob landed a job with the Home Insurance Company where he also played semi-pro baseball in the New York industrial leagues. Robert was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his four children:  Robert Jr, Michael, Steven and Dorothea.  Bob was also a passionate sports fan and could often be found watching the games of Notre Dame, the Atlanta Braves, the Carolina Panthers, and, most recently, the Carolina Hurricanes. Bob was predeceased by Jo, his loving wife of 69 years, in 2023, and his siblings Bill, Jack, Millie, and Kevin. He is survived by his siblings Joan and Mike, all four of his children, his daughters-in-law Anne and Kath, his three grandchildren(and their spouses) Elizabeth Pellegrom(Matt), Rob Mann, and Mary Katherine Mitchell(Caleb ), and his only great grandchild Pierce Pellegrom.  There will be a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Alpharetta, GA, on December 12, 2025 at 10:00 am.
