It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Rob" Mangiameli, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Born on August 5, 1969, Rob left us all too soon on November 19, 2023.

An unforgettable pillar in the lives of all who knew him, Rob will be fondly remembered for his radiant personality and the deep love he had for his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Laura Mangiameli in 1993, and was blessed with two wonderful children, a daughter, Megan, in 1993, and a son, Brian, in 1999. Their family was the center of his life and brought him immense joy.

Rob was a cherished son to his mother, Susan Walker, and to his father, Robert (Bobby) Williams. He was a beloved brother to Ryan Mangiameli and Kristen Spilman, and he found a supportive family in his step-father, John Walker, sister-in-law, Krisa Mangiameli, and his brother-in-law, Robert Wytrykus. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Carol Wytrykus, father-in-law, Gerald (Gerry) Wytrykus, and his grandmother, Evelyn Ridenour.

In 2013, the Mangiameli family moved from Crystal Lake, IL to New Braunfels, TX, which became a warm and welcoming home for him. He was a loyal follower of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Bears, and had a fondness for the color orange. Rob's love for horror films knew no bounds. Classics like Evil Dead, Escape from New York, and Return of the Living Dead were among his favorites.
