Obituary

Robert “Bob” Luhr, 95, of Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, after a life well lived.

Bob was born in Cornish, New Jersey to Arild and Emma Sunday Luhr. He grew up alongside his sisters Hazel, Alma, and Carol, spending his childhood outdoors from sunup to sundown hunting, fishing, and exploring the woods he loved so much. Growing up during the Great Depression helped shape Bob’s strong work ethic and appreciation for the …
