Sally, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved how Gordon loved you outwardly. He adored you. He lit up the room. I loved how he followed Alex's sports journey and was always up for a good sports conversation. Gordon was a wonderful soul and touched all who new him with his kind heart. He will be missed and it was an honor to have known him. All my love to you Sally.

We're sorry for your loss. Gordy was truly a wonderful person! I've attached two pix from our Bible Study from the early 1970s. It was a bunch of us "kids" living in Madison without family. We would get together once a week, eat together, and then have a Bible Study. Most of us were working, and in our 20s to 30s. I have fond memories of Gordy

Scott & I have numerous fond memories of Gordon. Two particular favorites:
- placing a Seattle Seahawks v Green Bay Packers bet with Gordon, knowing full well my Hawks were going down HARD. But seeing the glee in Gordon’s eyes was worth the bottle of Meiomi wine I was going to lose. Lost on Sunday and paid up Monday. When Scott “presented” Gordon with his prize, Gordon stood up, clutched the bottle and proceeded to “thank the Academy, thank Denise for wagering on such a losing team, etc” as though he had just won an Oscar!
- visiting with Gordon, Sally, their son, DIL and grandkids in his final days. Scott and I took a bottle of Meiomi (you can safely assume it is Gordon’s favorite wine). With Sally and the hospice workers permission we opened that bottle of wine and Gordon happily drank a few sips from an eye dropper. I believe I saw that old Gordon twinkle in his eyes! Upon leaving I leaned over and whispered “I love you Gordon”. And he whispered back “I love you too”.
Heaven gained a precious soul - until we meet again Gordon - GO SEAHAWKS! Love you my friend!!

The Men's Coffee Group at Wolf Ranch loved having Gordon in our weekly Monday morning get togethor solving the world's problems. Especially when Gordon arrived wearing his Packers cheesehead with a big smile on his face noting another Packers victory!
Gordon was a very kind, gentle and caring man. A true friend! The best kind of attributes everyone should have. He is already being missed from our group!
Rest in piece Gordon!
