Missing Bob’s enthusiasm and infectious smile. We worked so well together on the American Cancer Society Run/Walk and helped raise millions of dollars. Thanks, always. See you in a few miles…roy

I was saddened when I heard the news of Robert's passing.   Deepest sympathies, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  May you all find comfort knowing he will live on in your hearts and memories forever.

My condolences to the family.  Bob was a great guy.  I enjoyed working with Bob, for many years first with gas product and then diesel.  Bob and I travel together and made a few international trips, and it was always an entertaining experience.  We shared many laughs together.  He will surely be missed by me and many others.

Bob was always such a great inspiration - we'll miss our KRWC leader!

My condolences to Bob's family. I first met Bob through lunch runs at work which led to multiple marathons together.  He has always been an inspiration whether running or his impeccable work ethic. Bob always put everyone else first! As we would get ready for our lunch run in 40-degree rainy weather and we would ask, are we running today? Bob would respond, "Is a frog's ass watertight. " I have been blessed to meet such an inspiring person; he will be greatly missed.
I worked with Bob at Kohler for many years.  You couldn’t ask for a nicer person.  My condolences to all of her s family:

Charlie & my son, Troy, are like best friends!! I have spent some great times with him, Allison & Troy's 'extended' family in Madison, since I'm in Milwaukee. Our family can only imagine ur loss, as we experienced it 16 yrs ago with my husband & my sons' dad. He is a wonderful son/husband/friend, dad & mom can take great pride in that!! Charlie always tells Troy he calls his mom every day; trying to get Troy on a schedule!! My thoughts & prayers are with you ALL at this difficult time! Love & hugs!

Pam Jadro, they also nicknamed me 'Momma J'

The St. Paul, Como Park, Canfield Ave Brunet family will always keep the Lindorfer family in their hearts and memories of how graciously hospitable Bob was to all us Murray High classmates. Bob was high energy joy. Loved cars, mechanics and cruising. Steve H. call / tx 612-381-6273 DB.
We had a great time share stories of the old days at Kohler Engines at the 2023 Quarter Century Picnic. He's a great story teller. We will miss him dearly.

Dear Lindorfer family,

I, like you, am saddened to see Bob leave our presence, but I know his presence will be felt by many over the years to come. Bob was bigger than life, exuberant and fun to work and run with, for so many years. He always had my back, when I needed something  mechanical, he was there. His years by my side, as co-chair of the Road America Run/Walk, will be among my favorite memories. His taking over of the kids run we established, is one of my favorite. His remarks, before he sent them up the hill, kept them calm, and then got them excited to run. Thanks Bob for all the help you gave me over the past few decades and your impact on others, who also had a passion to run, walk and help others. May you Rest In Peace (at least till it’s time to run!). See you in a few miles…roy

My condolences to your entire family on your loss.  Bob was such a great person and so kind.  As a staff at the American Cancer Society, I can remember all the fun Fridays setting up at Road America and all the great event days.  It was always so wonderful to see Bob and he always had such a big smile.  He was so passionate about making this a great event and he worked so hard.  We are so thankful for all he did to help us raise funds for critical cancer research and programs and services.  I always enjoyed my time with Bob and his great sense of humor,  he will be greatly missed.

With sympathy,

Heather Van Vonderen
