My condolences to Snake's family. I first met Snake while at an event in UTA for black history month when my dear sister Hazel was chair. His wife Gloria was our insurance agent when we first moved to Arlington in 1986. I always enjoyed his wittiness, wisdom and laughter. May God continue to comfort each heart via the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

He would pull up jamming to old skool music. He'd get off smooth, come in and greet us all....his smile and laughter definitely went along way. He was the kindness gentle giant- w: a big smile! He will be missed.

My condolences to Snake's family. I first met Snake when we were stationed in Chicksands, England, way back in December of 1965. We had the opportunity to play basketball together. We started our bond then and were going to play basketball in the Air Force for twenty years. Things changed, and he went to St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and persuaded me to get out of the service and attend St. Mary's as well. We have been friends ever since that day. Snake has been more than a friend; we were like family. We have been attending the UIL state basketball games for over forty years, including the Final Four. Snake was the kind of guy who never met a stranger, always friendly, and had fun. I am going to miss you by brother.

I will miss our conversations during our weekly early morning setup before the Cowboy games. They were more about life than football. Snake loved spending family time tailgating on game day.

Snake was one of the first Kappa brothers I meet in Fort Worth chapter. He was our brother and the life of the party. Great man and glad I was privileged to know him for over 15 years. He will be missed but know he made an impact on everyone he came across. He will be missed. My condolences.🙏🏽❤️♦️
