Robert Patrick Leer, born on March 21, 1953, in Newport Beach, California, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, in Sun City, California, where he had been a beloved resident for many years.

Bob is survived by his loving family: his daughters, Jennifer and Lorraine; his son, Michael; and his cherished granddaughters, Jessica, Brianna, and Marissa. He also leaves behind his brother, Bill, who shared a lifetime of memories with him.

Bob's journey through life was marked by his dedication to his family, his kindness, and his unwavering spirit. He was quick with a joke and a hearty laugh, bringing joy to those around him. Above all, Bob loved his family with every piece of his being, always putting them at the center of his world.

A lover of the ocean, Bob found peace and happiness near its waves and shores as a young man, taking immense pride in his son Michael’s 20 years of naval service.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held to honor Bob's life, with details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation toward the ongoing care of his granddaughters he loved so much and a donation in his name to the Sea Scouts.
