Robert "Papaw" Leach, 74, of Ellettsville, IN, passed away on December 08, 2024.Robert was born on August 18th 1950 to Richard and Lois Leach in Sioux City, Iowa. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High school in Des Moines IA he went on to study Electrical engineering at United Electronics Inst. After graduation, he landed his first job as an engineer for RCA kicking off a lengthy career in television broadcasting. In 1973 he met Sheila and they wed in 1974 going on to have 3 children, Jim, Michelle (deceased shortly after birth) and David. After retiring in 2012 Bob spent his time playing golf (poorly) being the best Grandpaw you could ask for, and maybe tell you the occasional dirty joke. Robert was preceded in death by Michelle his daughter. He is survived by Sheila his loving wife and his two sons Jim and David.
