Robert "BOB" Lacey, widely known as BOB, but who preferred to be called Robert, passed away on April 5, 2023. Born on August 18, 1952, in Mobile, AL, USA, Robert lived a rich and fulfilling life. As an Engineer by profession, he dedicated his career to improving the world around him.

Outside of work, Robert had a diverse range of interests that enriched the lives of those who knew him. He found great joy in reading, uncovering stories and adventures through the pages of countless books. His love for gardening allowed him to create a beautiful outdoor sanctuary where his family and friends could gather and appreciate the fruits of his labor.

Perhaps his most cherished moments were spent with his beloved grandkids. Robert took great joy in nurturing the special bond he shared with them, creating lasting memories that will be forever treasured by his family.

Robert is survived by his loving children Cheryl, Rachel, Derek, Jason, Angela and Jennnie who will continue to carry the love and lessons they learned from their father.
