We give you a quick look into Bakersfield’s community theater “The Empty Space” in this micro doc. We had a great time exploring behind the scenes of this awesome theater during their production of Mel Brooks’ “The Young Frankenstein”. 2018, Bakersfield College, Panorama Drive, Bakersfield, CA, USA

Mr. Kempf was my very first acting teacher at Bakersfield College, teaching the “Intro to Acting” class. I was only 14 years old at the time and it was my very first college class ever. This class was considered a trial at first to see if I liked it as a summer activity and I ended up falling in love with it. Mr. Kempf was such a wonderful professor! I specifically remember one of his first quizzes in the class having a bonus question about how exactly his last name was spelled. I remember how much I studied the syllabus beforehand in order to get the question right and it makes my heart happy knowing that I was proudly able to spell his last name correctly.😂

Thank you Mr. Kempf for helping me develop my love for theatre.☺️
