It is with great sadness that the family of Robert John “Anvil” Thompson announces his death after a brief illness on December 25, 2019 in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the age of 68. Robert was born on July 14, 1951 in Queens, New York to Ann Rose Guido and John Howard Thompson. He was the oldest of 6 children who grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1970. …
