Thank you to all the wonderful people who loved our brother Rob - those that we know, those that we don't, those who are close and those who are far, those who are new and those who are old; may the story of Rob forever be told.
His Facebook page is still active and photos of his life are being posted there as a permanent record. Feel free to share a photo to his page, or post one in the comments section. Or, add a memory of Rob - a funny story or a kindness - he was inventive, improvisational, spontaneously witty, sometimes temperamental, always experimental, sensitive, artistic ....The Total Package.
A friend of his, Richard Brule whom I never knew, did not find out about Rob's death until 6 months elapsed, and phoned me, calling Rob a 'truly good and noble man'. Rob taught him how to tie a necktie & Richard thinks of him almost every time he does it. He said that now, it WILL be EVERY time.
Rob exited this world under the oncoming Star of Bethlehem constellation, so rare that it hadn't been seen in 800 years. That speaks volumes to how special he was. God loves him immensely and Grace was clearly in evidence at Rob's passing. His suffering was brief.
We plan to eventually (possibly 2022) inter his ashes in the Harris family plot in upstate New York, next to our father.
The stage is left empty by Rob's absence. Exit. Stage, Left.
