Personal note from Kathryn

Thank you to all the wonderful people who loved our brother Rob - those that we know, those that we don't, those who are close and those who are far, those who are new and those who are old; may the story of Rob forever be told.
His Facebook page is still active and photos of his life are being posted there as a permanent record. Feel free to share a photo to his page, or post one in the comments section. Or, add a memory of Rob - a funny story or a kindness - he was inventive, improvisational, spontaneously witty, sometimes temperamental, always experimental, sensitive, artistic ....The Total Package.
A friend of his, Richard Brule whom I never knew, did not find out about Rob's death until 6 months elapsed, and phoned me, calling Rob a 'truly good and noble man'. Rob taught him how to tie a necktie & Richard thinks of him almost every time he does it. He said that now, it WILL be EVERY time.
Rob exited this world under the oncoming Star of Bethlehem constellation, so rare that it hadn't been seen in 800 years. That speaks volumes to how special he was. God loves him immensely and Grace was clearly in evidence at Rob's passing. His suffering was brief.
We plan to eventually (possibly 2022) inter his ashes in the Harris family plot in upstate New York, next to our father.
The stage is left empty by Rob's absence. Exit. Stage, Left.
Our love and gratitude to you all ~

Rob Harris passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 64. It had been a difficult year for him but he was happy in recent weeks to be working again in his lifetime passion of theater. He was well known in the Denver dance and theater communities; one of his colleagues said that he had worked in every theater in Denver.
Rob was one who didn't shy away from challenges. He would find …

We are working on a Celebration of Rob on his birthday, September 11th, at Harvey Park in Denver. In case of inclement weather, Plan B is Littleton Youth Ballet, 1169 W. Littleton Blvd Littleton, CO 80120 (303) 794-6694. Our deep gratitude to Alison Jaramillo who organized the GoFundMe for Rob, and to all of you who helped, it means SO very much. Thank you ALL. It will help us a lot to get an estimate of how many people to expect in case we have to rent Coors Field instead (lol). Anyway - if you can let us know that you will plan to attend, we appreciate it.
