Robert "Rob" Sims, 65, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on November 30, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.

Robert was born on May 1, 1957  Shreveport, Louisiana. Rob graduated from C.E. Byrd High school in Shreveport Louisiana, Class of 1976. He then went on to Prairie View A&M University, where he received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his daughters, Shania Sims and Paige Sims, and his wife Rasheeda Sims.


Robert was also a passionate golfer and could often be found golfing when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Robert knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Robert was predeceased by Shirley and David Sims.  He is survived by Rasheeda, Paige, and Shania Sims.
