Robert's obituary
Robert James Riendeau, (73), of Reno, NV, passed away on November 4, 2007.
Robert was born on June 13, 1934 to Harold and Gertrude Riendeau in Hollywood, CA. After graduating from Hollywood High School he enlisted in the US Army.
After leaving the Army he enlisted in the Air Force National Guard and joined his Father and older brother working at H.F. Riendeau and Sons television repair shop, eventually taking over as a partnership with his brother and renaming it B & T Television.
In 1959 he met Donna Tate, and they wed in 1960, going on to have three children, Laura Lea, James Robert and Douglas Michael.
Robert was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Anyone who knew Robert knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus (at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in North Hollywood) even serving as Grand Knight several times.
He was also very supportive of his children's sports activities, as well as joining the Band Boosters at John Burroughs High School in Burbank to support his daughter's musical endeavors in Marching and Concert Band.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Harold and Gertrude and his brother Thomas. He is survived by his wife Donna Marie, his three children as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
