Bob's obituary

Robert Hobbs passed away in La Conner, WA on April 13, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Although, he is undoubtedly happy to be rid of the Parkinson’s body and brain, we who are left will miss him beyond words.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ellen, children, MaryEllen Hobbs, Rob and Kim Hobbs, and grandchildren, Tim, Ryan and Alec and Rylee Hobbs, siblings Suzanne Bryson, Gay Booth and John Ostrom,  many nieces and nephews – not to forget Jake, our dog who faithfully sat beside him during his last days.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July, 29 with sandwiches and cookies to follow – Bob’s favorite! The Celebration will be held at the Shelter Bay Clubhouse in La Conner, WA. The door will be open by 1 PM and the Celebration will begin at 1:30.

For those who would like, you can honor Bob’s memory through donations to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
