Bob's obituary
Robert C Ivory “Bob” Passed away on February 9th 2024,
After a valiant battle with dementia.
Bob was born in Syracuse, New York March 24, 1944.
Bob was married for almost forty-three years to the love his life, his wife, Lee.
They shared three children and several grandchildren.
Bob attended Syracuse University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam from 1965-1968. He was a member of the Cobra Net Team that took the original Cobra helicopters to Vietnam.
Pursuing a career in Aviation following his discharge from the Army, Bob was Director of International Marketing for Aviall. He traveled the world and doubled Aviall's profit margins. He was an active member of the MG car club and restored two MG’s from the ground- up. Folks who knew Bob will always remember the sparkle in his eyes, his willingness to help anyone and his firm handshake. At Bob’s request, there will be No funeral. His body has been donated to the University of Texas Medical School for research.
His family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's/Dementia foundation in his name.
