Robert Howard Holroyd Sr., age 62, of Tomball, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 10, 1959 to Ann Marie Holroyd and David McMahan Holroyd in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert and his family moved to Houston, Texas when he was a teenager. He attended John Foster Dulles High School and then attended the University of Houston. He began working at 14 bussing tables for a neighbors restaurant. After graduating high school he began working for a firm manufacturing steel pipe and stayed in that industry for the last 44 years. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Anyone who knew him was touched by his kindness and humor.

Robert is survived by his two sons Robert Howard Holroyd Jr., and Ryan James Holroyd; his grandchildren Landon, Reagan, and Ellie; his siblings Patricia Ann H. Bankhead, David McMahan Holroyd Jr., and Margaret Mary H. Krahn along with 5 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor at the Longwood Golf Club located in Cypress TX on Sunday February 27 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Lung Association.
