Robert's obituary

Robert "Bob" Hokanson, treasured as "Dad," passed away on January 12, 2025, entering eternal peace at the age of 80. Born on November 24, 1944, Robert led a full life, leaving an incredible mark on all who knew him.

Bob was born in raised in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Lane Tech. He went on to conquer many professional accomplishments, some of which were owning a motorcycle shop, becoming a skilled salesman, valued home inspector, and jack of all trades. Personally, he went on to travel around the world scuba diving with his loving wife of 42 years, Dee Dee "Mom" Hokanson, which undoubtedly, was his greatest personal accomplishment.

Robert's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his Wife, Dee Dee Hokanson; daughter, Colleen (Harry) James; step-daughters, Charlene (Rick) Rocha and Victoria (Derek) Boczkowski, along with countless other family and friends whose lives were touched by his noble spirit. A beacon of wisdom, Robert will forever be remembered for his contributions to his family and friends for his unspoken ways and being a strong support system for all.
