Beloved father of Robert J III, Heidi, and Erin.  Dear oldest brother of John, Kathleen, Marty, Mary Pat, Tom, Eileen, Maureen, and Colleen. Grandfather, cousin, friend, and "Uncle Bob" to many.

Preceded in death by his parents Robert J Sr and Catherine (nee Munroe) Hoffman.

From his son, Bobby:

"This weekend I lost the man who taught me how to hunt, fish, and feel at home in the outdoors. I love and miss you, Dad. Rest in peace."

Private cremation services have already taken place. Memorial Service 1 took place on Saturday November 22, 2021 in Elk Grove, IL. Service 2 to take place in November 27, 2021 in Joliet, IL.
