Bob was a great friend. We met at Oregon State in fall 1960. He was my first roommate at Sigma Pi Fraternity. There have been all kinds of good memories thru all of the years since. Bob and Jean let me have a room in their Corvallis house during my last year and a half of college. I appreciated that so much.
I will miss Bob so much. We were planning to see an Oregon State football when he first became ill. I really missed him during that game.

I'll see you on the other side my brother and friend.
I worked with Bob for many years on many aircraft projects at the museum and my wife Kathy and I had the honor of riding in many parades and  community functions representing the American Legion with him. We will miss his smile and  his laugh.

  1. As a fellow Legionaire and co volunteer at the Hillsboro Air Museum it has seen a loss that has left a lot of great memories. He was a part of the museum crew that breathed life back into an abandoned  Gulfstream Jet at PDX whitch now resides at the Corvallis Museum. Bob was a member of a crew that disassembled a Beech 18 at Honolulu International  airport whitch was then shipped back to the museum. if there was a job to be done  Bob was the guy who you could depend on to get it done. A real friend and he will be missed greatly.
