Robert's obituary
Robert Bryan Funston passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. He is predeceased by his parents Bill and Elsie, as well as his youngest brother Craig (Gwynne). He is survived by his wife of 49 years Elizabeth, children Cheryl, David, Andrew, and Aaron (Candice), grandchildren Jacob, Jaxon, Wyatt, Cohen, Siena, and Haven, and brothers Murray (Pam) and Crawford (Joyce).
Bryan was born on Christmas Day in 1946 and grew up in Richmond, British Columbia. He devoted his life to preaching the gospel and was a full-time evangelist throughout Canada and the United States. Bryan lived and worked for over two decades in various parts of Newfoundland & Labrador before moving to Fort McMurray, Alberta, and then back to British Columbia, settling in North Delta. Bryan felt a special connection with Newfoundland in particular and with the people there. He reminisced of it often and made every effort to stay connected when he was able. He will be deeply missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held at West Richmond Gospel Hall on Saturday, March 9, at 1:00 pm.
