Dear Elizabeth and Family,
With the homecall of your loved one and as you gather for the memorial service, we recall happy memories of Bryan while in NL, especially Fogo Island. My sister Christine and husband Douglas join me in sending our condolences, Sheila Freake

My father had some very fond memories of Brian. In the early 1970 there was a summer work in Fogo by the crew of the Northern Lights of which Dad and Brian were a part of. That winter they returned to Fogo, and as a result of the gospel preached, souls were saved, and baptized, and there has been a meeting in Fogo now for over fifty years. Although Brian was somewhat younger than Dad, he would say they work together as a well-oiled machine.
His reward is sure, and his memory is blessed!
Paul, on behalf of the Markle family.

Our deepest condolences to Elizabeth and her family as well as Bryan's brothers from Sharon and I...when in Fogo in early 1970, in open air, tent meetings and on the Northern Light, with preaching brethren George Campbell, Bert Joyce, Gaius Goff, Frank Pearcey and Bryan, I felt especially the fervent gospel spirit in those days. Bryan was not only an encourager but was overly zealous in getting out the unsaved...we miss that type of preaching today!
Until the day break and the shadows flee away...
