Bob's obituary
Bob was born to Marvin and Sue Funderburke on May 5, 1957, in Charlotte, NC. Bob moved with his parents to Tampa, FL in 1972. Years later he met his wife Rhonda and they married June 5, 1982. They settled in Lakeland, FL and raised their children Jimmy, Lenee and Robert.
As a child he developed a love of sports and carried that into his adult life. Bob was a well known football coach for youth league, high school and semi-pro. To all that knew him he was "Coach Bob" well after his coaching years.
Bob's passion was sales. He had a gift and put it to use as a representative in the flooring industry.
He was an avid music lover, with his favorite band being Lynyrd Skynyrd and Free Bird his favorite song. "Fly high Free Bird"
Bob joins his parents and two brothers in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, his brothers David and Randy, his children, Jimmy and wife Ashley, Lenee, and Robert and fiancee Vanni, his grandchildren Jason, Lacee, Jolea and George, his many nieces and nephews and his uncle Ted Stone.
Bob was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church Apollo Beach Campus. He loved reading the Bible and was very knowledgeable in scripture.
