Robert's obituary
Robert Frayler was Roman Catholic. Having grown up in the 50’s and 60’s he was an altar boy. He learned Latin, French and was a history buff.
After graduating from St Anthony’s Franciscan College Preparatory he briefly joined the Suffolk County Police Department. A tragedy had occurred, his faith kept him strong. After a long recovery he went to work in the telecommunication industry. During that time 9/11 occurred, he volunteered and spent months at Ground 0 to support 1st responders and assist in the utilities recovery. He continued his career with Verizon until retirement.
He enjoyed the simple things in life and never concerned himself with the nonessentials as they were not important to him.
Family
Survived by his wife Rita (Thelma), daughter Lauren, son Gregory, sister Susan Hale (Ed), brother Ward, grandson Mason Brown, nephews Steve and John.
Step Children: Eric Amengual, Eileen Brigantino, Cynthia Piper, and Stephanie Burns.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Audrey; brothers James, Stephen and John.
