I am trying to remember when I first met Bob. You were still living out east, I believe it was shortly before you moved to TN. It was probably when he came up to do a training class in Mendota Heights MN. Or when we had a team meeting at a local hotel. He was such a character. They all were, the guys we had on our team were so fun but they could make you mad too. I remember one meeting when we would always make sure to have some chocolates or candy. Bob brought his own sugar free candy. He was always so kind and sweet to me and Diane. And was so passionate about his New England sport teams. And the more excited he got about anything the thicker his New England accent would get. I will always look back fondly on our time in Mendota Heights. We just drove by there a couple of weeks ago. We had something special while we were there.

Miss you Bob! Hugs to you Joanne!

It was a pleasure working with Bob at Honeywell. He was such a great instructor. You could tell that he loved technology and teaching our HBS field technicians.
Dear Joanne and The Flanagan Family. We are so sorry for your loss of Buddy. We donated to The Old Friends Dog Sanctuary in his honor. Love Pam, Eric, Deveryn and Colton Magliozzi.

I met Bob gosh probably 16 years ago. We worked together at Honeywell. He was one of instructors on our training team. Here is what I will remember about Bob.

- he was a New England transplant to Tennessee. He kept his accent and his love for the Patriots.

- we often had conversations about Barney the Dinosaur and Darth Vader often on the same day. These were 2 names we had for our purple and black sets of equipment.

- we both had appreciation for country music and would discuss our opinions on the newer music coming out of Nashville.

- he loved to cook and talk about food.

- and he loved to take cruises. I could never understand why he was so fascinated but now I think I need to take one for his sake.

- he introduced us to his sweet wife and showed us around Nashville a couple of times.

- he taught me the real meaning behind "oh bless her heart".

- he taught me that less is more and experiences and spending time with your loved ones was so much more important. (Personally I am still working on this one.)

- they were able to take a trip to the UK before he was diagnosed and was hoping to return when he felt better.Ā  I feel sad that him and Joanne missed out on that second trip.

You will be missed Bob. I pray for his wife as she navigates this new season of life. She is strong and smart. And she was so loved and blessed with Bob as her husband. And he was blessed to have been loved and so patiently cared for by his wife.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Bob. Having worked with him for years, I always found him to be such a friendly and helpful person. He would always spend way too much time helping others with their problems.

He was a great guy to work with and he will be missed.
