Robert G Dyson of WAYNESVILLE NC passed away Jan14,2023. He is preceded in death by Mother Virgina Parrot Dyson, Father Robert T Dyson infant sister Holly A. Dyson. 

He is survived by his children 

Michael D Dyson, Virginia L Maloyed (Earnest)& Clarissa Moad (Stephen). He is survived by a widow Mary E Dyson 

He is survived by siblings Jeff Dyson (LaNeah),Kimberly Priest (Pat), Sherry Carver (Terry deceased) and Shannon Goodson

Robert Dyson had only one grandchild he lovingly nicknamed peaches. Kairi I Woolverton daughter of Virginia Maloyed

Forever in our hearts and missed dearly.

Dad loved poetry, painting and photography. I was blessed enough to learn to love music under the stars and to believe in magic dragons. 

Services will be held at Smokey Mountain Funeral Home on Tuesday Jan 24, 2023 

Viewing will be held from 2-3 immediately followed by service from 3-4 pm

Gods Garden

God looked around his garden- And found an empty place,

He then looked down upon the earth- And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you -And lifted you to rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful -He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering -He knew you were in pain.

He knew that you would never – Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough – And the hills were hard to climb.

So he closed your weary eyelids – And whispered, ‘Peace be thine’.

It broke our hearts to lose you – But you didn’t go alone,

For part of us went with you – The day God called you home.
