Not knowing its affect

Just being one’s self

Never in jest

To travel with another

A journey of two

Sharing hopes and dreams

Always being true

To share one’s heart

Singing a song of love

Looking to the heavens

For guidance above

How can one imagine

Life with out another

Stepping into the unknown

Feeling like a prisoner

A prisoner of the past

The life we knew well
