Bob's obituary

Robert “Bob” Keith Durbin Jr, 67, formerly of Coffeen, passed away on the 11th of February 2022 at 12:13 in the morning.

Bob was born on the 8th of August 1954 in Vandalia, the son of Robert Keith Durbin, Sr., and Melba Florence (Lewis) Durbin. Through his travels and work, he fostered close connections with many people who he considered extended family. He loved golfing, playing guitar, woodworking, leatherworking, riding his motorcycle, fishing, helping others, and most importantly spending time with his family. Bob was known to be quick witted and his sense of humor will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Durbin, five sons - Keith (wife Tanya) of Michigan City, Indiana, Scott Knebel (wife Tiffany) of Coffeen, Derek (wife Jessica) of Nokomis, Corey (wife Heather) of Lebanon, and Cody of Nokomis; one daughter - Jessica McLaughlin of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren - Caitlin, Gage, Audrey, Robert, Rylan, Blake, Paisleigh, Linley; one great grandchild – Conner; two siblings – Gary Durbin (wife Deborah) of Coffeen, and Vicki Cialkowski of Brownstown; several nieces and nephews; and his two cats – Rocky and Missy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
