Thoughts and Prayers for your loss.
I would like to share a short story about Bob.
Bob, along with John Sawina and Todd Babekuhl, was one of my closet friends growing up. We would get together almost every day after school to play football, baseball or basketball depending upon the season.
For example, our fall football games were always 2 v 2 touch games played on a grassy patch of ground adjacent to Our Lady of Victory.
Normally, Bob and I would be teammates against John and Todd. Bob and I ran a two play offense in which he was the receiver. The two plays we ran (over and over) were a 8-10 yard down and out or a chair route (down and out with a go route). These two plays we extremely effective because 1) no one could run a down and out like Bob and 2) I think John and Todd just got board with our offense.
I treasure these memories of playing sports with Bob, who had a way of de-escalating any argument with his infectious laugh.
He was a wonderful friend.
