Robert's obituary

Robert “Rob” Courtney passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on December 29, 1962, to the late Pete and Tamiko Courtney in Marquette, Michigan. Rob was preceded in death by his stepmother, Tomie, and his niece, Heather Courtney. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Courtney; his children: Paige, Peter, and Palmer Courtney; his brother, Daniel (Catherine) Courtney; and his niece, Carissa Courtney. Rob also leaves behind a supportive group of aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Rob was a graduate of Sycamore High School and later went on to study at The University of Toledo. Rob was a man who found comfort in the little things in life. His hobbies included fishing, cooking, golfing, and much more. More than anything, Rob loved his family and friends and cherished every moment that he got to spend with them. Rob’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
