Bob and my father were close friends and passed away within a few months of each other. While I miss them both dearly, I smile when I think of the two of them "carryin' on" in some ocean view bar in heaven, telling stories, as they did so well. RIP...
Carlo and I were very close friends for over 40 years.  We shared many laughs and tears together.  I miss him every day and it’s hard for me to accept, even one year later, that he is gone.    His passing has left a place in my heart which will never be filled.

My Carlo Christmas Tree every year. My sterling towering marathon man forever in my life.

Love,

Janet, Gardenia and Duchess

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Carlos. My father, Jim McIntyre, loved Carlos very much. I like to think they are having Stanford lunch in the sky now.

Much love,
The McIntyres

I just learned of Carlo's passing on the CAMSS website - I am so very sorry to hear this sad news! I met Carlo about 10 years ago through BETA - he was our counsel for a Medical Staff issue that went to court, and he was wonderful! I spoke with him many times, on the phone & in person - he was a joy to work with, and such a character. So full of life and great stories! My sincere condolences to all his family and friends - they don't make em like Carlo anymore.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Carlo. He was always so willing to help me when I needed a speaker. His knowledge and way of presenting information always made for a good time. My heart aches for the loss. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.
He will be gone when the last of the people who loved him is no longer. I am just one of many .
Carlo and I shared many things, but our time together was sometimes even more precious with the quiet moments we had just holding hands in a movie. We enjoyed philosophizing on old n current issues, and all the artwork and creativity showing the beauty man can compose with prom, paintbrush, photo freezing a moment in time n so much more. We danced n entertained each other over the 30 years I knew him. What I miss was our quiet times most. We’d talk about something we had going on, then just be there for one another in a way that I’ll miss forever. I enjoyed being there for him and there’s no one that will be as tender to me as Carlo, when the world isn’t.

I worked with Carlo on many cases over the years. Each case was of major significance because Carlo was brought in to do the big ones. And no wonder. He was smart, knowledgeable, wise, and an excellent trial lawyer. More than that, he was gracious and courteous in his relationships with counsel and the courts, and a genuinely nice person whom I always looked forward to seeing. I know Carlo was also a true Renaissance man -- in addition to his career in the law, he was an accomplished actor and photographer. I will truly miss working cases with him, telling war stories at our dinners together, and enjoying the wonderful human being that he was.

Carlo was one of a kind. He was one of my very favorite trial counsel to work with. He was everything you would want in your lawyer -- brilliant, a top notch advocate, and highly ethical. He was also a super nice guy who I always enjoyed talking to. He was friends to many of us at Horvitz & Levy over the years and his loss is being felt by us all.

Carlo was a superb attorney, a consummate professional, and an excellent colleague. We always enjoyed working on appeals in Carlo's cases because they were so well litigated it made our job much easier. I also will miss sharing good wine, fine food, and lively conversation with this dear friend.

Dear attention Everloved,
There is an upcoming deadline for Everloved topics and I choose to submit the 3 most specialized topics for Carlo and I. ❤️
I absolutely would elegantly love to start with our 3 heart felt quotes in life that Carlo and I believed in our relationship about beauty in life. 💕

1)” You don’t stop playing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop playing.” ❤️
2)” You sent me free by running in the fields of laughter.”
❤️
3)” There is nothing more important in life than to say I love to someone with all of my heart...”
Quoted Ali McGraw to Janet Lee Terry❤️

How did I meet Carlo?
I met Carlo on March 1997 while living in Rancho Santa Fe. It happened to be the night of the infamous heaven gates mass suicide of Willing Participants. That night Carlo and I created our own heaven gates. It was a miraculous alumni colleague embellished group of ambiance and great friendship. Our sparkling dazzling effervescent heavens gate began. And what a precious gate to explore of spectacular humor, class, continuing sensual events with loving family from Chicago, Hawaii, Mexico, LA, New Port Beach. The heaven glittering gate of lost stories modeling airlines began.

The Most Fun I ever had with Carlo:
Always started with a flourishing outrageous over flowing pot of boiling Pasta Water. The most memorial decadent boiling pot of water is when he surprised me in Maui for my first Maui marathon. 3 days before the Maui marathon the charismatic Italian cooking chef showed up and the euphoric energy completed me for the next 3 Maui marathon paradise for 3 glorious sunsets and sunrises. The over flowing pot of water was always a symbol of boyent heartfelt deep loved with rainbows and the most rewarding belly ache laughs. I contribute my laughter and smile lines to him.

What acts of kindness did I witness from Carlo:
Carlo was my inspiring uplifting soul to my dogs and cats, his step baby’s. He was truly my sweet essence of joy purity sterling heart warming beauty inside and out. He had 4 radiant step-babies he secretly loved was subtle with bursting impeccable bliss. And they would be Gardenia, Blue ribbon multiple times, Plumeria, Blue ribbon multiple times at Del Mar Thorough bread Club, Dutchess and Tuberose were an extra purring bonus.

What was the impact of his kindness?
His heart felt enduring charity of rescued unwanted animals are on our names at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe.

A loving spark, we all mourn and grieve in our own way, God Bless God and All of You.
- Janet Lee Terry
The members of the San Diego CAMSS Chapter will miss Carlo imparting his knowledge and generosity to our chapter. He will be missed by all!
We took a trip up to Carmel and had dinner at Rocky Point Restaurant near Big Sur with some of my family. We saw Otters swimming below and the rest of the night everything anyone said had a form or play on the word Otter..... It went on and on!!!

Carlo and me in Bend, oregon on a trip
Carlo and I met circa 1978 in Del Mar with my Ex-Husband Bob Angello. We became fast friends, going out to great dinners, cooking Italian food at my house, attending Charger Football games, going to opening day at the Del Mar Racetrack every season and various other events. He was like a Big Brother to me.
