Robert Carrade, age 61, passed away on September 9th from a heart attack.

Rob was born on April 1st, 1962 to Denise and Frank Carrade in San Francisco, before moving up to Marin at the age of 2. After graduating from Redwood highschool in 1980, he went on to study Economics at UCSB.

After graduating with a degree in Economics, he moved back to the Bay Area and started his career as an accountant, auditing at KPMG. He later received an MBA from UC Berkeley in 1995. He went on to be a CFO at numerous companies and tech startups, including bringing Pilot Networking Services public in 1999, and working at WhiteHat Securities.

Rob was married to Ingrid Van Koppen from 1986 to 2020, and they were blessed with two sons, Bart born in 1991, and Jake born in 1995.

Rob loved trivia, hiking, golfing, listening to sports on his handheld radio, and going to Giants games. He was a devoted husband and father; always involved in his sons' sports teams as they were growing up.

Rob was predeceased by Denise and Frank Carrade, and is survived by his sons Bart and Jake, his brothers Denis, Rich, Dave, and Marty, and his sister Michelle.
