Rob aka "Lumpy" was truly genuine, loving, heartfelt, intelligent, yet crafty soul.  As roommates at the Olive Tree Apartments at UCSB we stayed awake many nights talking about every subject under the sun, some of which conversations included his, then, unrequited love/obsession for a tall Swedish girl named "Ingrid", who resided four or five apartments away.  While I am truly sad and disappointed to learn about his untimely passing, I am very happy in knowing that he married and had children with the "true" love of his life.  Although our relationship was relatively brief in time, Rob's persona made an ever-lasting positive imprint on my being. My sincerest condolences to Robert's loved ones.

Rob was a true friend and a terrific guy.  We were fellow Gauchos in the Econ dept and both came up to SF to work for KPMG- Rob, Jim and me.  We always shared a good laugh and I am saddened to hear of his passing.  He was a great guy and I am fortunate to have been his friend.  I'll miss picking up the phone and hearing him say "Yo Mad Dog."  RIP, my friend.

Rob was an interesting, intelligent and entertaining man with many impressive accomplishments. I have fond memories of time spent with him and am very sorry that he has left us.   His family, friends and associates have my sincere condolences.

I am truly saddened and shocked about the passing of Rob. I worked with Rob at WhiteHat, normally people like me (IT and Security) don’t get along with CFO’s, but we clicked. Rob taught me many things, while at WhiteHat and post WhiteHat. We chatted often, we had a lot in common. I will miss Rob forever.

God Speed My Friend

Jake and Bart, our best to you during this difficult time.  Your dad was a good friend, and we had fun together watching our boys grow up.  Take care.  -Jack
Bart, Jake and Ingrid, I hope this journey is not too difficult. Rob's steal trap memory (for which I was/am so jealous) and quick wit, were the hallmarks to his life, D'oh! Sadly, he left us (all) too early. But I am sure he is up there hanging out with mom and dad.  Rest in peace, Rob.
