Sincere condolences. You are such good daughters to your very dear Dad.

Hi, my name is Shirley Ann Brashear Yates and I am one of. Bobby’s first cousins. We were born just short of two months apart and we lived close enough that our Mothers took turns taking care of us. So we were more like Brother and Sister. We played a lot of hide and seek, tag, jumping over fences, going to the beach and whatever else kids did back in those days. By the time we were teenagers, we had moved several times and just lost touch with each other. So here it is 45 years or so later and Kimberly reaches out thru Ancestry.com to let me know that we are related.   Thank God. Thru this communication I was able to go see my Cousin  Bobby and meet Eileen and renew our friendship and stories about our families, while there was still time. I hope you know how much he cared for you, he really loved his family and he was so proud of each one of you. You all welcomed me with open arms and showed me family love. For this I will be forever grateful. God bless you all and know that my door will always be open. Love you all

My husband Julian and I met Bob and Bobbi Brashear in 1967 through mutual friends, It didn’t take us long to become close friends with both of them. We shared so many of the same values with them, dedication to family, work, church and caring for others.

We always had a great time going to dinner, football games, and socializing with them at our parties and their parties. We loved visiting them at their “retirement” home where Bob probably worked harder taking care of their beautiful property than he ever did at the hardware store. Bob and Bobbi made a great team, not just at their home in Oregon but as parents and as friends.

Bob and my husband Julian, who left us two months after Bob did, had a special relationship, almost like brothers. They could talk, talk and talk into the night. And Bob was the ultimate host, always aware of anything you might need. Bob was a true friend for nearly 60 years and a blessing in our lives.
