Bobby was born on June 10, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents Shelia Gambrell Callaway and Robert (Bob) Fred Turner. At the age of 4, Bobby and his family moved to Marietta, Georgia where he grew up and attended Osborne High School.
