Robert (Bobby)'s obituary
Bobby was born on June 10, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents Shelia Gambrell Callaway and Robert (Bob) Fred Turner. At the age of 4, Bobby and his family moved to Marietta, Georgia where he grew up and attended Osborne High School. After completing his education, Bobby spent 20 years as an electrician in the Atlanta Metro area. Bobby was an avid pool player and a member of the APA pool league for many years both in Marietta and Knoxville. Bobby became permanently disabled in 2010 due to complications from hip replacement surgery.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Sallie Gambrell and Fred and Louise Turner, all of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Bobby is survived by his estranged wife, Angela Foster Turner; daughter Leah McKenzie Turner; daughter KaitLyn Joy Turner, son, Zachary Foster Turner and Kimberly Mealor, ex-wife and mother of KaitLyn and Zachary; brother, Allen Clark Turner of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Becky Phillips Turner of Rockmart, Georgia; half-sister, Sara Catherine Turner of Woodstock, Georgia; mother, Shelia Gambrell Callaway of Knoxville, Tennessee; father and step-mother, Bob and Haydon Turner of Woodstock, Georgia; in-laws, Janice and Dennis Foster of Ballground, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Stacey Foster and DeeDee Foster of Canton, Georgia; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Jim McNeil of Lenoir City, Tennessee; nephew, Lawson O’Neill Turner and niece Lydia Falene Turner of Rockmart, Georgia; and numerous other beloved cousins.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned due to the COVID pandemic and the extended range of family and friends across Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
