Robert D. “Bob” Sanders of Fort Myers, FL, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was 75 years old having been born on December 20, 1947 to James H. and Juanita. He was a respected businessman who owned and retired from Associated Air Services of Lee County, Inc. HVAC and Sheet Metal, having worked in the HVAC/R business with his father since his youth. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed traveling to see God’s country. He was always fair, caring and real. He loved his family, especially his beloved wife, Joyce Hooks Sanders of over 54 years. He is also survived by his children, Robert “Duane” & Kelley, Dawn Sanders Ledford & Greg, and William “Dean” Sanders. He also leaves behind his dear grandchildren, Chloe, Claire, Robert “Daniel”, and Autumn. In addition, he is survived by his youngest brother, David & Kathy, his sisters-in-law, Joan & Dick Eben and Donna Popkey, as well as his cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving in-laws, Duncan & Louise and siblings, Jimmy, Carolyn, Jane, and Martha. Per his wishes no services will be held. If you want to honor his memory, spend some time in nature or make a donation to your favorite charity such as the Salvation Army or Samaritan’s Purse.
