Thinking about you lots today. Miss you and love you Bob!
I met Robert because his daughter became my lacrosse couch in high school. She was an excellent couch, teacher, friend, adult. And I could see where she got those quality’s from. A short while after , she had her dad join the lax team and he earned his title as Papa Lax. He genuinely cared about us and gave us the best advice . Personally , I remembered when I graduated and they had told me , if I ever needed to reach out they’d be there for me. I don’t think people realize how much that can mean to a then 18 year old getting ready to venture into the world. Papa lax will always live on in our hearts and through our actions. I will always remember his kind words.

Bing was an educator that truly left an impact. He taught and coached with passion. I have so many great memories of his classroom and on the lacrosse field. Bing was always there to talk to, no matter the circumstances. To Mrs. Binggeli, Kelsey, Kayla, and the rest of the family, my heartfelt condolences. Bing was an amazing person. He will be missed tremendously.
My memories of Mr. Binggeli all begin with having him as a summer soccer coach while playing alongside Kayla. I remember his kind, encouraging and motivational words that came from the sidelines or during our halftime talks. I even remember him yelling my nickname across the fieldand always acknowledging the hard work that I put in, even if we didn’t come out with a win. As I grew up I had Mr. Binggeli in middle school and high school as a health teacher. Throughout those years Bob and Dale continued to be on the sidelines or worked the concession stand for both soccer and lacrosse games. As life continued I was fortunate enough to play lacrosse at St. Andrews with Kelsey where I was able to see the Binggeli family. Again, just seeing Bob and Dale put a smile on my face. My most recent memories consist of seeing Bob and Kelsey at my sisters wedding and getting to catch up with them. My last memories and the ones I continue to think about , were from Kelsey and Mikey’s wedding. I remember watching Bob walk Kelsey down the aisle and their father daughter dance. Later on everyone celebrated with drinks and I remember watching Bob and Dale dancing. These memories I will cherish. Mr. Binggeli was an amazing coach, teacher, father and husband. I am so grateful that I have had the Opportunity for him to have made an impact on my life. My thoughts and my love go out to Dale, Kelsey, Kayla and their family!
With Love, Chelsea Ross
Dale and Girls - I am so sorry for your loss. It leaves me with no words. Bing - if there's anything I can do for you, please let me know. Pam Pendleton
I have many memories of Mr. Binggeli since our families were good friends, but one of my earliest will always be my favorites. I remember being in middle school and watching him on the morning news. He was always trying to get a laugh and normally succeeded. The best was when he put fake muscles in his sweatshirt and insisted he would "PUMP you up!" It doesn't sound funny as I say it, but it was my favorite reoccurring bit he did! My love goes out to the whole Binggeli family. <3
While I didn't meet the fellow Webster grad until he taught my son at Newark Middle school, We had a series of great experiences together. Soccer and Lacrosse games, workouts in the middle school exercise room, visiting our daughters at ST Andrews, aqnd working Knighthawks and Rattlers games. He cast a giant shadow where ever he went. I was proud to be his friend, sharing many memories. He leaves a big whole in Newark.

My last conversation with Uncle Rob as he started treatment. Always in my heart❤️
Dale and family, so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. My thoughts and prayers are with.
My heart goes out to Dale, Kelsey, Kayla & the rest of the family. To me, Bing was a mentor, a teaching partner, a role model and a friend. His smile, kindness & teaching methods made Newark Middle School a better place for kids to learn, and a much better place to teach.

When I met Mr. Bing in the sixth grade, as my health teacher, little did I know our friendship would blossom over a span of 15 years. It is quite hard to express how much he did for me and how deeply he is missed. I wanted to share this photo from my college graduation in West Virginia not only because it demonstrates his contagious smile but also because it meant the world to me that he could attend. On behalf of my mother and I, our deepest sympathy to his family. Goodbye for now, Bing<3
I had mr. Bing for health and as a home room teacher. He was a good man who really cared about his students! He always was uplifting and positive. He always made my days better after talking with him. He was a good person all away around and will be dearly missed by all!!
We always knew Rob was a great guy, but didn't know until reading all the tributes just how many lives he touched in big and small ways as a teacher, a coach and a friend. He was definitely exceptional and will truly be missed.
I will never forget his smile. He made middle school so much easier for me and many other students. He could make your day brighter with just that infectious smile and warm heart. I remember when the boys would pick on me in class he would walk them out into the hall and set them straight. Came back checked on me gave a speech to the class about how you treat others and the impact it can have. He always made everyday brighter than the last ♥️ Hugs to you Mr. bing for always being there. Condolences to the family members. He’s watching over us all from above 🙏🏼
