Robert Wayne Bartgis, a beloved member of the Union Bridge community, passed away on March 5th 2024 at the age of 64, surrounded by his cherished loved ones after bravely battling cancer. Born on September 9th, 1959, in Frederick, Maryland, to Richard and Effie Bartgis, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.

Robert's journey impacted numerous lives, creating cherished memories shared with his loved ones. His passion for repairing things guided him to a career as a Diesel mechanic for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed hobbies like hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and treasuring moments with loved ones.
